JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Mow and trim grass on greens, fairways, tees, and roughs using appropriate equipment.
  • Rake and maintain sand bunkers to ensure consistent playability.
  • Change hole locations and move tee markers as directed.
  • Perform hand-watering and operate irrigation systems to maintain turf health.
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols.
  • Assist with sodding, seeding, and turf repair projects
  • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the course by removing debris and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete special projects and seasonal tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is generally preferred.
  • Additional training or certifications in landscaping, turf management, or related fields can be beneficial
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of lawn care practices, including the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways.
  • Experience in evaluating emergency crisis situations
  • Ability to operate and maintain a variety of power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, tractors, and hand tool
  • Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
