Part Time Landing Page Design specializes in creating high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns, often requiring specific skills in conversion-focused design. Part Time Web Designer has a broader scope, including designing entire websites and interfaces. While both roles require web design skills, Landing Page Designers focus more on specific campaign goals, whereas Web Designers handle a wider range of projects.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time landing page designers, and how can they be addressed?

Part-time landing page designers often face challenges such as integrating their work within existing brand guidelines, coordinating with remote teams on tight deadlines, and ensuring consistency across multiple landing pages. To overcome these, effective communication with marketing and development teams is essential, as is using shared design systems and documentation. Staying organized with project management tools and setting clear expectations on deliverables can also help streamline collaboration and maintain quality.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Landing Page Designer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Landing Page Designer, you need strong skills in graphic design, user experience (UX) principles, and proficiency with HTML/CSS, typically supported by a relevant degree or portfolio. Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch, as well as experience with website builders and A/B testing platforms, is also important. Creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication help you create visually appealing pages that meet client goals and brand standards. These skills ensure the development of high-converting landing pages that drive engagement and achieve business objectives.

What is part time landing page design?

Part time landing page design involves creating and optimizing standalone web pages on a part-time basis, usually for marketing or advertising campaigns. These designers typically work flexible hours, often as freelancers or with agencies, to help businesses improve conversions and user experience through effective landing page layouts, graphics, and content. Their responsibilities may include collaborating with clients, using design tools like Figma or Adobe XD, and ensuring the landing page is responsive and aligned with brand guidelines. This role is ideal for those who want to balance work with other commitments while contributing valuable design expertise.

Job description

Maumee Supply and Waterhouse bath & kitchen studio are seeking a highly accountable, creative, and organized Part-Time Social Media Specialist to support ongoing brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead-generation efforts.

This role is responsible for creating and managing social media content and campaigns that not only maintain a consistent brand presence, but also generate measurable business results.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn content into customer action โ€” including showroom visits, quote requests, contractor inquiries, consultations, and promotion-driven sales opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, understands visual branding, can work independently, and is interested in learning the plumbing, heating, cooling, industrial, and decorative plumbing fixture industries.

Success in this role is measured by consistency, creativity, customer engagement, and business impact โ€” not simply content output or follower counts.

Key Responsibilities

1) Content Creation & Planning - Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing goals, promotions, seasonal demand cycles, and business priorities.

2) Promotion & Campaign Support - Support monthly sales initiatives and promotions by developing campaigns tied directly to products, services, seasonal demand, and vendor opportunities.

3) Paid Social Media (Meta Ads) - Assist in creating and managing paid Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns focused on increasing awareness, engagement, inquiries, and conversions.

4) Engagement & Demand Capture - Monitor social channels for customer interactions and help ensure inquiries are acknowledged and routed appropriately.

5) Photography & Visual Asset Creation - Visit Maumee Supply and/or Waterhouse locations a minimum of twice per month to capture original content.

6) Platform Management & Trend Monitoring - Schedule and publish content using approved social media management tools and platforms, monitoring and applying trends that aligns with brand standards and audience, and track content performance.

7) Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align messaging, promotions, campaigns, and priorities, take direction while bringing new ideas forward, maintain reliable communication and consistent follow-through, be open to feedback and revisions, work independently while managing deadline and deliverables.

The primary objective of this role is to create consistent digital content that builds brand awareness while converting attention into customer action.

Every post, ad, reel, and campaign should help move customers toward actions such as:

  • Requesting a quote
  • Visiting the showroom
  • Calling or messaging the sales team
  • Asking about product availability
  • Scheduling a consultation
  • Redeeming a promotion
  • Visiting the branch or counter
  • Clicking through to a landing page or offer

This role should help position social media as a reliable lead-generation and customer engagement channel for both brands.

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to create clear, engaging captions and calls to action
  • Basic photo and video editing skills using mobile apps or desktop tools
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or experience supporting paid social campaigns
  • Ability to identify and leverage content trends appropriately
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn the plumbing, heating, cooling, industrial, and decorative plumbing fixture industries
Preferred Qualities
  • Understanding of lead generation and conversion-focused marketing
  • Interest in home design, remodeling, contractor solutions, or building products
  • Comfort capturing onsite content and interacting with staff and customers
  • Ability to think strategically about content performance and customer engagement

Benefits

Hybrid (primarily remote; occasional onsite in Perrysburg, OH)

Up to 10 hours per week (with flexibility based on workload and campaigns)
