Job description

General Purpose and Scope of the position:These positions are part-time, temporary positions filled each semester on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities include assisting Program Chair in special projects and/or Faculty in agriculture business or horticulture labs; setting up lab equipment; equipment maintenance; and clean-up after labs and as needed.

Enrolled as an agriculture student at Ivy Tech Lafayette campus. Computer literate with good Excel knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience operating and maintaining agriculture equipment. Familiar with horticulture equipment and green house operations.

Other Requirements:

Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview. Original transcripts will be required at time of hire. Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
