Job description

Peco Foods Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lab Assistant for our Corporate Microbiology Lab to support sample preparation and laboratory operations.
This is a part-time position Tuesday-Friday each week.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of college coursework with a strong emphasis in life sciences.
  • Competent math and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be able to follow written procedures
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to work alone
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in laboratory technology
Experience in basic laboratory procedure
Experience in chemical safety procedures
