Overview:
The Nail Technician is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • To work as part of spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
  • Responsible for setting up the nail stations and pedicure thrones according to procedures and dispose of laundry in a timely basis.
  • Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and setting up the nail stations according to procedures.
  • Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
  • Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
  • To begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are always being followed.
  • Ensure all guests depart with a completed prescription form after every service.
  • Strive to consistently produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-year experience in nail therapy in an upscale salon or spa setting strongly preferred.
  • Current State of Tennessee Nail Technician License.
  • Must be able to provide all phases of nail care i.e. spa manicures, spa pedicures, paraffin treatments, French upgrade on hands and toes, and specialize in natural nails.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client's needs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing back to back appointments in a high volume 4 diamond environment.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including being on call for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift.
  • Ability to obtain a State of Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission server permit before date of hire.
