Early Childhood Aide — Part Time (Infant & Toddler Classrooms)


Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly, 12 months

Role Summary

Calvary Early Learning is a caring and nurturing program dedicated to providing developmentally appropriate experiences that support the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth of each child we serve. Our mission is to lay a strong foundation for early learners in each of these key areas.

We are seeking a caring, dependable Early Childhood Aide to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. This role works alongside lead teachers to help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is interested in gaining experience in early childhood education. Our educators collaborate closely as a team to meet the evolving needs of the children in our care. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within our Early Learning program, including pathways toward teacher qualification.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in providing nurturing care for infants and toddlers
  • Assist with feeding, diapering, and daily routines
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Engage with children through play, caring routines, and responsive interactions
  • Assist with supervision both indoors and outdoors
  • Support classroom transitions and daily schedules
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, sitting on the floor, and standing for extended periods.
