Job description

LifeWorks (a subsidiary of Nystrom & Associates, Ltd.) is seeking full-time or part-time licensed psychologist to provide psychological evaluations and/or psychotherapy to patients depending on psychologist's interest areas and competencies. Qualified candidates will have prior psychological evaluation experience and be proficient completing the full evaluation from an intake through presenting assessment results. Duties of this position will include:

  • Provide psychological evaluations to patients within the psychologist's scope of competence
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to patients within the psychologist's scope of competence
    • Designs and implements treatment plans and ongoing therapy reflective of patient needs

  • If interested/needed, provide clinical supervision to master's or doctorate level providers

  • Maintain legible and organized outpatient records in accordance with policy requirements

  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews

  • Follow policies and procedures of Nystrom & Associates, Ltd

  • Responsible for timely completion of Managed Care applications and ongoing documentation as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

In this position, we are particularly interested in hiring a psychologist to complete psychological evaluations, there is flexibility to provide your own mix of psychological assessments and/or therapy. Some of our clinicians provide psychological assessments exclusively and some provide a combination of psychological assessments and therapy. Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. will provide all testing materials.
