Position Summary:Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions in the areas below. These part time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduatecourses in the Sociology, Human Services, and Criminal Justice disciplines

  • Regular, predictable attendance on campus(for in-person classes)

  • Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap

  • Other jobduties/responsibilitiesmay be assigned

Education and Experience:Ideal candidates will have a master's degreeor higher in a relateddiscipline and college teaching experience.Experience with learning management system (i.e. Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.
