Job description

Description:

Part Time | Remote or Hybrid | 25 Hours Per Week

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Compensation: $24 to $27 per hour, depending on experience

Love HR details, clean processes, and a good checklist? We are looking for a Part Time HR Assistant and Recruiter to support our Human Resources team with the day to day work that keeps things moving.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys HR operations, staying organized, supporting onboarding, keeping records accurate, and helping the HR team stay ahead of the details. You will support both HR operations and recruiting, helping keep employee processes organized while also keeping candidates moving through the hiring process.

In plain English: we need someone who likes order, follow through, and a clean process. HR superheroes welcome, capes optional.

What Youโ€™ll Do

You will provide part time support to the HR team in three main areas:

HR Administration

You will help maintain employee records, assist with HR documentation, support Paylocity updates, organize HR files, and help keep internal trackers and records current.

Onboarding Support

You will assist with new hire paperwork, onboarding coordination, employee documentation, and follow up items to help create a smooth start for new team members.

Recruiting Support

You will help with job postings, resume review, phone screens, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and basic recruiting follow up when hiring needs arise.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

The right person for this role is organized, dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information. You do not need to know everything, but you do need to be someone who follows through, asks good questions, and takes pride in doing things correctly.

Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years of HR administrative, HR support, or recruiting experience
  • Experience with onboarding, employee records, or HR documentation
  • Recruiting or candidate coordination experience preferred
  • HRIS or ATS experience preferred
  • Paylocity experience is a plus
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing the details
  • Professional judgment and respect for confidentiality

This Role May Be a Great Fit If You Are

  • Looking for a consistent part time HR role
  • Someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and follow through
  • Comfortable helping with recruiting but prefer HR operations as your home base
  • Good at keeping things moving without needing constant reminders
  • Calm, organized, and steady when priorities shift
  • The person who actually enjoys a clean tracker, a completed checklist, and a properly saved document

A Few Things to Know Up Front

This is a true part time role designed for 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The role may be remote or hybrid depending on location and business needs. There may be potential for the role to grow in the future as department needs evolve, but the current need is part time.

Why Join Us?

Our HR team supports a growing law firm with a lot of moving pieces, good people, and plenty of details to keep organized. This role gives you the opportunity to make a real impact behind the scenes by helping create a smoother employee experience, stronger onboarding process, cleaner records, and better recruiting support.

If you enjoy HR work that is practical, people focused, and detail driven, we would love to hear from you.
