Overnight Bell/Valet Attendant - HOTEL

(Shuttle Driving Support)

Pay: $17.00 per hour + Tips$$$
Location: Reno, Nevada
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Shifts: Overnight Graveyard (must be able to work on weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Bell/Valet Attendant to join our hotel hospitality team.

This position primarily supports bell and valet services, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and seamless arrival and departure experience.

In addition to bell and valet duties, this role may also assist with shuttle driving as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Bell & Valet Services (Primary Focus)

  • Greeting guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure
  • Provide luggage assistance, including loading, unloading, storage, and delivery to guest rooms
  • Safely Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate valet ticketing and vehicle documentation
  • Provide guests with directions, hotel information, and local recommendations
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ensure the driveway and lobby areas remain organized and welcoming

Shuttle Driving Support (As Needed)

  • Safely transport hotel guests to and from designated locations
  • Assist passengers with baggage loading and unloading
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure safe transport
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and team members regarding routes and guest needs
  • Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle concerns promptly

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Must have been continuously licensed for at least the past 3 years
  • Must possess a valid United States driver’s license
  • Within the past 3 years, there must be no violations including:
  • Driving with a suspended license
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement
  • Any alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses
  • Refusal to submit to a BAC test for DUI/DWI

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License (Passenger endorsement or CDL if required for shuttle operation)
  • Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam (if required for shuttle duties)
  • Ability to safely operate guest vehicles, passenger vans, and shuttle buses
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous bell, valet, or hospitality experience
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
