Job description

Description:

The Hoag Specialty Clinic is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join a growing team of Maternal Mental Health Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioner and therapists at our beautiful Newport Beach and Irvine locations. This is a role that includes clinical time and protected administrative time.


Responsibilities

· The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations for Hoag patients in the outpatient setting in person or via synchronous telehealth.

· Provide expert consultations for admitted maternity patients at Hoag Hospital’s Newport Beach and Irvine campuses.

· 40 hours/week. Approximate hours 8am-5pm.

- Time will be spent in Newport Beach, Irvine and via telehealth

· Growing program with support from Hoag Women’s Health Institute.


Requirements

· Board Certification - or Board eligible - in Psychiatry with experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry

· Specialty training in Perinatal & Reproductive Psychiatry

· MD or DO degree, and completion of ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry

· Active, unrestricted California Medical License, or eligible for California State Medical Licensure

· Active DEA license

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting and a passion for providing excellent clinical care

The salary range listed is for a full-time position and does not include additional incentive compensation or benefits that you may be eligible for. The total compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on fair market value, experience, training, or any additional hospital needs.
