Job description

Sensually Yours, Inc. is a locally owned specialty retail store in Honolulu, HI, seeking a Sales Associate to support daily in-store sales and customer experience. This role focuses on customer service, product education, and store upkeep in a fast-paced retail environment.


Position Overview

Sales Associates are responsible for creating a welcoming, inclusive shopping experience while assisting customers with product selection, maintaining store standards, and completing routine retail tasks. This is an hourly, non-management position. While we will consider full-time applicants, we are primarily seeking part-time and on-call associates.


What You’ll Do
  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor
  • Provide accurate product information and recommendations
  • Operate Lightspeed POS system and handle cash/card transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
  • Restock products and assist with inventory tasks as assigned
  • Follow all store policies, safety guidelines, and age-verification procedures
  • Communicate questions or issues to the MOD or store leadership

Qualifications
  • Prior retail or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with customers
  • Ability to remain professional when discussing adult products
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be 18+ and able to verify customer age per policy
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs


Schedule & Status
  • Hourly, non-exempt position
  • Part-time and on-call availability
  • Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
