Applications for Part-Time Higher Education (HE) Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed. Please make sure to include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, as well as a copy of graduate transcripts when applying for this position.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. TheUniversity will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B).
Job SummaryHigher Education Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by program majors. Higher Education adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [2 - 3hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on finance, law, and leadership.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Instruction in traditional and online formats.
  2. Assessment of student learning outcomes.
  3. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsA doctoral degree in Higher Education is required for teaching graduate level courses.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with all groups of individuals in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team in diverse settings.
  • Experience with online learning platforms.
  • Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback.

Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated success in university teaching is preferred.
