Job Title: Healthcare Educator (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Employment Status: Part-Time
Location: New Mexico (Office & Field Support)
Agency: Activa Home Healthcare, LLC
Position Summary
The Healthcare Educator is responsible for providing training, education, and competency support to both field caregivers and office staff. This role ensures staff are properly trained, compliant, and prepared to deliver high-quality personal care services in accordance with New Mexico regulations, agency policies, and payer requirements.
This position requires the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish to effectively train and support a diverse workforce.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Training & Education
  • Provide new hire orientation and annual required training for field workers and office staff
  • Deliver training on:
    • Critical Incident Reporting
    • Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation
    • Client Rights
    • Infection Control and Safety
    • EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) requirements
    • Documentation standards
    • Agency policies and procedures
  • Conduct training sessions in English and Spanish, as needed

Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with the Administrator, Compliance/QA, HR, and Operations teams
  • Assist with development and updates of training materials and policies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish

  • Experience in healthcare, home care, personal care services, caregiving, or staff training
  • Strong communication, teaching, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Physical & Work Requirements
  • Part-time schedule with flexible hours based on agency needs
  • Ability to conduct in-person and virtual training sessions

  • Ability to stand, present, and interact during training sessions
