Job description

Description
Role: Healthcare Recruiter
Life at Hueman
We're a team of people-people: relationship builders, problem solvers, encouragers, teammates, and helpers. Whether we're celebrating a hiring win, jumping in to help solve a recruiting challenge, volunteering in the community, or cheering each other on through busy seasons, we believe work feels better when people feel supported.
Our culture is built on connection, teamwork, and a shared commitment to creating great employment experiences. Here, we believe that everybody is somebody. That means you'll find a team that cares about doing good work, showing up for each other, and making space for people to bring their ideas, energy, and personality to the table.
And we're proud that Hueman is Great Place To Work Certified, with 88% of employees saying Hueman is just that: a great place to work.
Join Hueman as a Healthcare Recruiter
If you've spent time recruiting in healthcare, you know the urgency, the complexity, the relationships it takes, and what it feels like when you get the hire right.
At Hueman, we're looking for someone who brings that experience to a different kind of recruiting model. We're an RPO - a Recruitment Process Outsourcing partner - which means we work as an embedded extension of our clients' teams. Our healthcare recruiters build real partnerships with the organizations they support, understand the culture and the priorities, and recruit with the depth that takes time and trust to develop.
We're not a staffing firm. There are no placement fees, no commissions, and no pressure to turn candidates over quickly. The work is relationship-driven, mission-aligned, and built to last.
Please note: This is a hybrid position based in Albuquerque, NM. Team members are expected to work in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Tuesday and Friday.
Salary Range: $45,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience
Why Healthcare Recruiters Choose Hueman
• Your salary is your salary. At Hueman, you're compensated for the quality and consistency of your work.
• You won't be cold-calling candidates all day. You'll build long-term relationships with the same hiring managers and the same teams by getting to know the culture, the needs, and what "great fit" actually means for that organization.
• In-house roles can ceiling out. Staffing can burn you out. RPO gives you the stability of an internal team, the variety of multiple client accounts, and the growth trajectory of a firm that's actively expanding.
• Hueman is expanding. People who join at this stage of growth tend to grow with it. If you want to lead a team, run an account, or move into a senior role, the path is there.
What You'll Do
As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will support day-to-day recruitment operations for one of Hueman's healthcare client partnerships. Responsibilities include:
• Review resumes and assess relevant skills and qualifications
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews with hiring managers
• Source and engage candidates through job boards, networking sites, search engines, social media, applicant databases, outbound calls, texts, and emails
• Use the designated Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Partner with hiring managers through intake meetings, regular touchpoints, and recruitment strategy conversations
• Gather feedback from hiring managers and assist with the offer process
• Work with the marketing team to support recruitment marketing strategies and monitor activity and results
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and partnership leaders
• Provide world-class customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and client contacts
• Partner with Hueman leadership to understand recruiting goals aligned with client expectations and service-level agreements
• Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and account-level process improvements
• Complete weekly reporting for partnership contacts as required
• May require occasional travel to client sites, conferences, or recruiting events
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
Required skills and abilities include:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience identifying and reaching out to talent through cold calling and sourcing strategies
  • Ability to use sourcing tools and techniques to identify potential candidates
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ability to learn new technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems

Education and Experience
  • Prior healthcare recruiting experience preferred, either as a corporate recruiter or with a recruitment or staffing firm
  • At least one year of relevant professional work experience

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
Benefits include:
  • Paid time off
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Traditional and Roth 401(k) options with company match
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Community service events
  • Wellness and mental health support
  • A collaborative work environment that emphasizes togetherness, diversity, and teamwork

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Candidates hired for this position must pass onboarding and credentialing requirements established by Hueman and the client.

Applicants requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in the hiring process may contact recruiting@hueman.com
