Pediatric Shifts Available in Austell GA 30168
Looking for Nurses who can commit to two 12-hour shifts minimum
5 Day Shifts & 2 Night Shifts Available: 5 Day shifts M-F 7AM-7PM & 2 Night Shifts 7PM-7AM - any 2 days are fine
Pay Rate: LPN $40.00 per hour and RN $50.00 per hour
IntegriCare is seeking an experienced RN or LPN to provide one-on-one care for a medically fragile pediatric patient with complex respiratory and neurological needs. This is a high-acuity case requiring strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care.
Patient Diagnoses
  • Chronic Respiratory Failure with Hypoxia and Hypercapnia
  • Ventilator Dependence
  • Tracheostomy Dependence
  • Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD)
  • Tracheomalacia
  • Gastrostomy (G-Tube) Dependence
  • Congenital Ventriculomegaly with VP Shunt
  • Difficult Airway
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the home setting
  • Continuous assessment of respiratory status
  • Ventilator management and monitoring
  • Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and emergency airway management
  • Pulse oximetry monitoring and oxygen management
  • Administration of medications as ordered
  • G-tube feedings, medication administration, and site care
  • Monitor for signs of respiratory distress, infection, and changes in condition
  • Assess neurological status and VP shunt function
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Implement and follow the individualized plan of care
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
Qualifications
  • Active Georgia RN or LPN License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong Pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a home setting
  • Reliable transportation
  • Exceptional customer service skills
