Looking for a part-time healthcare role that fits your schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful impact? Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable, compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our medical team at the Harnett County Detention Center.
Working every other weekend, you'll play an essential role in ensuring patients receive safe, timely medications while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to quality healthcare.
What You'll Do
As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll help provide safe, efficient medication services and support daily clinical operations by:
  • Administering medications according to certification, physician orders, and facility protocols
  • Following the Five Rights of Medication Administration
  • Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
  • Monitoring patients and promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff
  • Assisting with medication inventory, storage, and accountability
  • Maintaining accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality
  • Collaborating with nurses and healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care
