As a Security Officer Part Time Healthcare in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and support a professional environment for daily operations.
  • Assist with incident documentation, communication with site contacts, and other security-related duties as assigned within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
