Can you get a job at a group home?

Yes, individuals can work at a group home as direct care staff, residential counselors, or support workers. These roles typically require relevant experience, background checks, and sometimes certifications such as CPR or first aid. Job opportunities are often posted through local agencies or online job boards.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time staff working in group homes, and how can they be managed?

Part-time staff in group homes often face challenges such as adapting quickly to the needs and routines of residents, managing unpredictable situations, and maintaining consistent communication with the full-time team. It’s important to be proactive in familiarizing yourself with resident care plans and to participate in team meetings or handovers whenever possible. Building strong relationships with both residents and coworkers helps create a supportive environment and ensures continuity of care across different shifts.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Part time group home positions typically do not pay $4,000 per week; such high earnings usually require full-time roles or specialized skills. High-paying jobs without a degree often include sales, real estate, or skilled trades like plumbing or electrical work, which may involve certifications or experience rather than formal education.

These workers play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, or other special needs, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Part-time positions typically offer flexible hours, making them suitable for students or those seeking supplementary income.

F45 TRAINING MANCHESTER CT

Part-Time Group Fitness Coach

Manchester, CT  ·  Part-Time  ·  Immediate Start

About F45 Manchester

F45 Training Manchester CT is a brand new, high-energy group fitness studio built on one simple idea: community-driven training that gets real results. F45 combines functional training and circuit-based workouts into 45-minute sessions that are different every single day. We are not just a gym — we are a culture, a community, and a movement. We are looking for coaches who get that.

The Role

We are looking for a part-time group fitness coach who brings the energy, the knowledge, and the personality to lead our members through world-class F45 sessions. You will be more than an instructor — you will be a motivator, a mentor, and a key part of what makes this studio feel like home for our members.

What You'll Do

•       Lead F45 group fitness sessions with confidence, energy, and proper technique

•       Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every member feels seen and supported

•       Motivate and coach members of all fitness levels through each workout

•       Monitor form and provide modifications to ensure safety and effectiveness

•       Arrive early, stay present, and bring your best energy to every session

•       Build genuine relationships with members and contribute to studio culture

•       Represent F45 Manchester CT with professionalism on and off the floor

Who You Are

•       You have a genuine, deep passion for fitness — it is not just your job, it is your lifestyle

•       You are a natural motivator who lights up a room and makes people feel good about being there

•       You are a team player who takes the culture and vibe of the studio seriously

•       You are coachable, punctual, reliable, and take pride in your craft

•       You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and bring consistent effort every shift

•       You connect with people easily and genuinely care about member results and experience

•       You are humble enough to keep learning and confident enough to lead

Qualifications

•       Current personal training or group fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, CrossFit L1, or equivalent)

•       CPR / AED certification (required)

•       1+ years of coaching or instructing experience preferred

•       F45 coaching experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right person

•       Availability to coach early morning, evening, and weekend sessions

Compensation & Perks

•       Competitive per-class pay commensurate with experience

•       Complimentary F45 membership

•       Opportunity to grow with a brand new studio from the ground up

•       Be part of a passionate, tight-knit team that actually enjoys showing up

A Note on Culture

This matters to us as much as your resume. We want someone who fits. Someone who hypes up a member hitting a PR just as hard as they celebrate their own. Someone who stays after class to chat with a member who needed that extra push today. If you are the type of coach who treats every class like it is your most important one — we want to hear from you.
