Position OverviewPassion Ventures is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and articulate Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily administration, applicant communications, website maintenance, newsletter communications, and organizational representation.
This remote, flexible role is ideal for a candidate with a background in non-profit or foundation operations who possesses a strong commitment to global social impact, enjoys relationship-building, and has clear digital management skills. Key ResponsibilitiesEmail & Subscriber Communications:
Serve as the primary point of contact for general inquiries, managing incoming communication with promptness, clarity, and professionalism.
Manage and maintain the organization’s subscriber list, drafting and sending out regular email updates and newsletters.
Fellowship Application & Review Support:
Assist leadership in organizing, reviewing, and evaluating incoming fellowship applications and budgets against program criteria.
Reach out to external potential reviewers and subject-matter experts to request their feedback and coordinate application reviews.
Website & Blog Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the Passion Ventures Squarespace website, including publishing fellow updates, news, and blog posts.
Networking & Representation:
Represent Passion Ventures on calls and virtual meetings with potential partners, donors, and applicant fellows.
Participate in online and virtual conferences to represent the organization.
Travel to select US-based domestic conferences to represent Passion Ventures in person (100% of travel and conference expenses covered).
Education: Four-year college degree required.
Faith & Alignment: Must be a Protestant Christian aligned with the mission and values of Passion Ventures.
Non-Profit & International Experience: Prior professional experience working within non-profit organizations or grant-making foundations, paired with a demonstrated interest or background in international development, global social impact, or international non-profit work.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience updating and maintaining websites/blogs built on Squarespace and managing email marketing/subscriber lists.
Communication & Networking Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting the organization’s mission on phone/video calls and in networking settings.
Location & Travel: Must reside in the United States. Willingness to travel periodically for US-based domestic conferences and attend virtual conferences as needed.
Self-Management: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a flexible 5–10 hour/week structure.
