Job description

GOLF MAINTENANCE WORKER

Fairway Hills Golf Club is seeking a Part-Time Golf Course Maintenance Worker. He or she will be responsible for operating large, motorized power mowing equipment, as well as operating a wide variety of hand and power tools and light equipment necessary for the maintenance of CA’s two golf courses. They will assist in installing, repairing and maintaining sprinkler and drainage systems and must be able to follow the Golf Course Maintenance Standards.

 He or she must be able perform manual labor tasks involving lifting 75-pound bags of fertilizer, replacing water coolers on the course as well as seeding, digging or raking using hand tools, bending frequently to perform various tasks and operating small equipment requiring pushing and pulling.

Must be 16 years of age and have previous equipment operation experience as well as Golf course maintenance experience. He or she should have the ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb without any difficulty and the ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme cold/extreme heat, rain, snow, etc).

The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $18.000/per hour. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
