Job Title: Golf Course Marshal
Location: Crestview Country Club / Wichita, KS
Job Type: Part-Time Seasonal
Reports To: Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional
Job Summary:
Crestview Country Club is seeking a courteous, observant, and customer-focused Country Club Marshal to join our golf operations team. The Marshal plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional golf experience by maintaining pace of play, upholding course rules, and providing outstanding service to members and guests throughout their round.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage pace of play to ensure a smooth flow on the golf course.
  • Politely enforce club rules and etiquette with members and guests.
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the golf course, communicating issues or incidents to the Golf Shop.
  • Assist golfers with information, directions, and basic support during their round.
  • Inspect the course regularly for any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns.
  • Report any violations of rules or inappropriate behavior in a professional manner.
  • Ensure players are adhering to their tee times and starting at the correct hole.
  • Support tournament operations by guiding groups, tracking pace, and offering logistical assistance.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of golf rules and etiquette (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
