Copper Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery has been providing premier aesthetic skin care services to Northern Michigan for over a decade.
As the only medical spa in Northern Michigan backed by an award winning, board-certified plastic surgeon-Dr. Jeffries-we're able to offer a variety of treatments to meet patient goals. We are focused on contributing to the confidence and empowerment of our patients by providing the most trusted aesthetic treatments in our region.
The Front Desk Receptionist is one of our most vital roles-you're the first and last impression our clients experience, setting the tone for an exceptional visit from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and be well-spoken and articulate. They should be flexible with scheduling, have strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and exude a friendly, outgoing demeanor. Additionally, they must be able to multitask effectively, work well in a team, and be comfortable with basic computer and software applications.
Work Schedule:
This is a part time position. The role is onsite Tuesday & Thursday from 9AM-6PM and Friday from 9AM-5PM . We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while ensuring business needs are met.
Responsibilities:
  • Open and close the office, ensuring everything is organized and running smoothly throughout the day
  • Greet patients, create a welcoming atmosphere, and manage check-in/check-out, payments, and documentation
  • Coordinate scheduling, including appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, and provider communication
  • Handle communications by answering phones, managing emails, faxes, and mail, and responding professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk, reception area, restrooms, and distribute marketing materials
  • Support daily operations by ordering supplies, managing patient records and reports, and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience managing phone systems and scheduling
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and typing skills.
