Front Desk Clerk - Receptionist - Part time

Our Front Desk/Receptionist plays an integral part at Friendship Village and they are first people to display the heart of the organization. The first voice people hear and the first face people see welcoming them to our community.
This is an extremely busy office which takes a very special person to balance multiple duties all happening at the same time while staying organized and ensuring everyone calling or walking through our doors or call is greet with a smile and a helping hand.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Greeting residents, families, guests and others
  • Answering a multi-line phone system
  • Scheduling resident transportation
  • Scheduling guest and party rooms
  • Money handling
  • Sorting incoming mail / posting out doing mail
  • General office duties
  • Provide strict confidentiality for our residents, staff and guests

Working Hours
  • This is a part-time position working 8-5 Mondays and Wednesdays with some additional hours on other weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Micro soft office products
  • Friendly, upbeat, and dependable
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with a busy multi-line phone system
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a busy environment
  • A team player with great customer service skills

Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.
