Job description

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is currently looking for a part-time Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our existing Pathology practice in The Dalles, Oregon.  Our practice is part of an in-patient hospital and ambulatory clinic system in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge region and has been recognized internationally as one of the leading innovators of patient-centered care. 

Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The area boasts award-winning wineries, affordable housing, and, most importantly, warm, friendly people. In our small town, you will get to know your patients and their families and build relationships that will last a lifetime.

The service supports the Celilo Cancer Center, accredited by the NAPBC, and includes; a wide variety of interesting cases.  Includes non-gyn cytology, but no Pap smear cases.  No autopsy cases.


Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology 
  • Strong surgical and cytopathology skills
  • Clinical lab experience 
  • Excellent Leadership Skills 
  • Strong Communication SkillsÂ
