As the Vice President Finance, Husqvarna Forest & Garden Business Unit North America, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, performance, and decision-making for the business unit.

Reporting directly to the Division Senior Vice President Finance and are part of the North American Executive Leadership Team, you will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate closely with senior managers to optimize financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic initiatives to sustain and enhance market position.

The person is the natural financial leader and go-to person in the Business Unit and act as the Business Unit Management's finance and business partner. The person will also play a key role in the Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division's global finance community and be involved in various Group projects.

What You Need to Know:

  • Overall responsibility for Husqvarna Forest & Garden North American financial reporting and follow-up

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management

  • Help set the strategic direction of the business and serving as key strategic partner for the Business unit President and all finance and business-related areas of the business unit.

  • Consolidate financial & operating metrics across the NA Business Unit, analyzing key drivers of results; identify risks and opportunities, as well as actions to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities

  • Partner with the Business Unit President and senior leadership team to execute the business transformation strategy and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Drive standardization & process improvements in financial planning and reporting across both the finance and operating teams

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls, managing risk exposure effectively.

  • Lead a team of 4+ direct reports, and an extended team of ~50 Finance professionals

  • Drive the organizational talent agenda through development, diversity, retention, and recruitment efforts; Continuously striving to create a world class finance/accounting organization that collaborates within the business unit and across the segment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a track record of success in a complex, multinational organization

  • Broad financial experience from several functional areas e.g. product development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, service, aftermarket

  • Preferably experience from strategic and financial improvement journeys

  • Experience in manufacturing, professional and/or consumer goods industry is highly desirable.

  • Handson experience with ERP / SAP implementations, including system rollout, process redesign and adoption of new ways of working

  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.

  • Ability to summarize and effectively communicate complex topics to allow for organizational understanding and action.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and influence decision-making at the executive level.

  • Experience as an action-oriented business partner for profitable growth with complex portfolios.

  • Broad experience in different Finance roles, including financial analysis, operations, general accounting, and controlling.

  • Takes ownership for driving significant change, performance improvement and execution discipline

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong internal drive to succeed and high work capacity, ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines

  • Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working at high pace
