Description
To provide and oversee the provision of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services, within
the Early Education Center.
Essential Core Responsibilities
Clinical Activities
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and ongoing evaluations (minimum
  • twice annually for long-term clients).
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans (typically every 6 months).
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and insurance (Medicaid/commercial)
  • requirements.
  • Establish and monitor data collection systems to track client progress.
  • Provide direct client services as needed and oversee overall service delivery and authorizations.

Case Management
  • Maintain complete and compliant client records, including intake, treatment, and progress documentation.
  • Serve as primary liaison for clients, families, and care teams; facilitate meetings and communication.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to Virginia human rights regulations for all clients.

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field, required.
  • Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA/BCaBA) required.
  • Hold licensure in Behavior Analysis, preferred (must obtain license within 90 days of hire).
  • Knowledge, experience, and formal experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Essential Physical Requirements
  • Lift 50 pounds (and keep back straight while doing so)
  • Bend at all joints fluently
  • Move in and out of and maintain a kneeling position for up to five minutes
  • Reach in all directions
  • Grasp using both hands
  • Move quickly in both confined and open spaces to avoid safety issues
  • Run in order to retrieve an individual who is moving quickly away from staff
  • Maintain balance while lowering to a half squat position
