This position pays $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Receptionist and clerical support for Anderson Administration
Duties and responsibilities:
โ€ข Receptionist and switchboard operator providing information and guidance to callers, visitors. students, faculty and staff
โ€ข Provides administrative support for Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Student success including filing, document preparation, computerized reports, projects and other activities as assigned
โ€ข Follow confidential information policies and standards
โ€ข Message liaison between faculty and students as needed
โ€ข Serve on committees as assigned
โ€ข Organize reception area for next day's operation
โ€ข Follow all college policies and procedures
โ€ข Assist with special events, meetings and maintain supply inventory
โ€ข Assist/troubleshoot copiers, postage machine, fax machine and phones
โ€ข Provide clerical support and assist with activities as assigned
โ€ข Coordinate communication between daytime and evening faculty and staff
โ€ข Responsible for contacting Security for student and employee safety concerns
โ€ข Serve as backup support for faculty area receptionist or for special needs
Minimum Qualifications:
โ€ข High school diploma or GED
โ€ข Good typing and computer skills - Microsoft Office software package
โ€ข Excellent organizational, communications, human relations, and self-directed work skills within a team environment
โ€ข Knowledge of switchboard operations and telephone etiquette
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Two (2) years administrative support experience
โ€ข Associate or bachelor degree
