Job description

IU Health Medical Group Department of Neurosurgery, in collaboration with Indiana University School of Medicine and our nationally and internationally recognized team of neurosurgeons is recruiting a foundational Spine Neurosurgeon for our state-of-the-art IU Health West Hospital, in the Indianapolis suburb of Avon, Indiana

Position Details: 

  • Perform all aspects of neurosurgical disorder care for patients experiencing neurological issues
  • Practice in a multidisciplinary care setting with Pain Management specialists, Physiatry, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Neurology
  • Enjoy the benefits of a dedicated surgical support team, and access to newly renovated state-of-the-art Spine OR, fitted with brand new O-Arm
  • Strong primary care referral base in place to support the growth of your practice. Interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to care with APPs, therapists, triage nurses, etc.

In addition to providing quality clinical care, there is a focus on research and teaching residents and fellows at the IU Health Neuroscience Center/IU Health Methodist Hospital and affiliated institutions. Call rotation, equal time split with all other adult neurosurgeons based on clinical effort. Leadership opportunities are available in Hospital & System Quality and Clinical roles. 

Qualifications: 

•    Neurosurgery residency in an ACGME-accredited program
•    ABNS BE/BC
•    H-1B sponsorship considered
