Job description

Position Title: Student Worker - Center for Service (Work-Study) Job Description: The Center for Service Student Aide is a representative of the office both in the office and on campus. The Center for Service supports the Mount community and our community partners in educating students for just and compassionate engagement with the world through service to God and others. The Student Aide position will be devoted to the facilitation of weekly service through the Common Good Initiative (CGI) and to the ongoing operations of the Center. The appointed individual will: Be committed to the good of all people and the dignity of the human person. Serve as student leaders to facilitate the Common Good Initiative and be responsible for student transportation to and from the weekly service opportunities. Uphold and develop mutually good relationships with the Mount's community partners. Undergo training for Mount Table and sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect the privacy of Mount Table guests. Have the ability to work some evenings and weekends as the service may occur outside normal office hours. Perform office duties and patron service functions. Be willing to learn, to ask questions, and to grow. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director and Coordinator of the Center for Service. Requirements: Possession of a valid driver's license. Salary and Hours: Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
