What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and help to document and communicate observed conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and help to report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards while following site-specific protocols and post orders.
  • Support a professional atmosphere by offering directions, assistance, and information to visitors and staff while helping to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
