This company is a leading private mortgage insurance company that partners with more than 1,800 lenders across the U.S. to help make homeownership possible. Their Lender Servicing Operations team supports the administration of mortgage insurance policies, premium billing, payment processing, and customer account maintenance. As a Junior Financial Operations Specialist, you'll support the day-to-day maintenance of the companies mortgage insurance portfolio by processing premium payments, applying cash receipts, researching billing discrepancies, and servicing customer accounts. You'll work closely with both lender customers and internal teams to ensure accuracy, resolve issues, and deliver a high level of service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in financial operations, accounts receivable, banking, mortgage servicing, or insurance who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and working with data.

โ€ข The Specialist will research, validate and process requested adjustments to payments applied abiding by the policies and procedures set by management.

โ€ข Process cash receipts to outstanding invoices through matching of receipts to payment files

โ€ข Proactively route other certificate maintenance transactional documentation to appropriate area within Lender Servicing

โ€ข Manually data enter accurately premium received from non-electronic customers or exception payments at a certificate level prior to month-end or the customerโ€™s next billing cycle

โ€ข Utilize automated system procedures to upload payment data files and resolve any processing issues with file upload failures

โ€ข Monitor and reduce the number of suspense items by actively engaging internal and external customers in resolution and prevent reoccurrence.

โ€ข Manage email correspondence and answer incoming calls via cash application phone system.

Pay and Benefits
