About the Role

High Country Beverage, the leading beer distributor in Northern Colorado, is looking for a reliable and organized Admin Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, and provides day-to-day support across front-office administration and accounts receivable. You'll help keep the office running smoothly while assisting our Finance and HR teams with payment processing, reporting, and other administrative tasks. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable moving between customer service, office support, and finance-related work, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience
  • 401(k) eligibility after 6 months of employment
  • Generous employee discounts on beverages
  • A collaborative, team-focused work environment with real opportunities for growth
  • Fun perks: company happy hours and parties
  • Please note: this is a part-time position and is not eligible for medical, dental, or vision benefits

What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming phone calls, assist visitors, route inquiries appropriately, and support general customer service needs
  • Assist with office administration including mail distribution, filing/scanning, hospitality room upkeep, and record organization
  • Order office supplies for all departments and locations, including breakrooms and conference rooms
  • Stock supplies as needed
  • Coordinate corporate goodwill orders
  • Coordinate food orders for meetings and functions
  • Coordinate with Sales, Delivery, Warehouse, and Finance teams to resolve account and payment issues
  • Apply customer payments, including checks and other remittances, and research discrepancies such as short pays, skipped invoices, and overpayments
  • Process invoices & orders for all departments, using Sage AP
  • Assist with reporting, special projects, and additional assignments as business needs require

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable and punctual, consistently available for scheduled part-time hours
  • Detail-oriented and organized, catching discrepancies before they become problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable working with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving between front-desk, administrative, and finance support tasks throughout the day
  • Trustworthy with confidential information, including payment, account, and personnel records

Why High Country Beverage

We are more than a beer distributor. We are a tight-knit team that takes pride in what we do and how we do it. Our Finance team is small, capable, and genuinely collaborative. You will have visibility into both the accounts receivable function and day-to-day office operations, real ownership of your work, and a clear path to grow within the company. If you are looking for a role where your experience is valued and your work matters, this is it.

While we sincerely appreciate all applications, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. We look forward to hearing from you.
