Job Description

As the newest member of our team, you'll play an integral role in our financial operations - keeping the books accurate and month-end close on track as we grow. Financial operations are your foundation, but you'll also be coordinating special projects - corporate governance to investor documentation and contributing across the business as new priorities emerge. With 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, you're ready to make an immediate impact. Here's some of what needs to be done: 

  • Managing A/P, A/R, payroll coordination, and month-end close activities 
  • Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records in Intacct 
  • Tracking equity activity between Carta and Intacct, including the investment tracker 
  • Overseeing the Box virtual data room for corporate books, investment documents, and due diligence materials 
  • Coordinating vendor and legal contract workflows with outside counsel, including equity administration vendor onboarding and investment paperwork for the current funding round 
  • Contributing to C Corp conversion, governance documentation, and other company-level projects as they arise 
  • Managing vendor relationships, subscriptions, office operations, and day-to-day administrative activities 
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency by using AI, automation, and better business processes 
  • Jumping in wherever needed to help the business move forward 
Qualifications

And what it'll take to get it done: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience  
  • 5+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations in a technology-driven, corporate, or professional services environment 
  • Working knowledge of Intacct or a comparable accounting platform, Intacct strongly preferred 
  • Familiarity with equity administration tools such as Carta - reconciling cap table activity against financial records is a plus 
  • Exposure to legal operations, contract management, or data room administration - you don't need to be a paralegal, but you shouldn't be starting from zero 
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills with the ability to leverage Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and other productivity tools to improve how work gets done 
  • Hands-on experience using AI and automation to streamline workflows and improve business processes 
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep initiatives moving 
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a natural curiosity for solving problems 
  • Professional communicator who works effectively with employees, vendors, investors, and outside counsel 
  • Resourceful, self-directed professional who takes ownership, asks thoughtful questions, and adapts as priorities evolve
