Position Purpose
This position is responsible for administrative and accounting support to the Finance department, specifically working with the Accounts Payable team within RMHS. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office.
Essential Duties
General Administrative Duties:
  • A/P data entry
  • A/P vendor maintenance
  • 1099 processing
  • Check and ACH processing
  • Large check runs and assist with mailings
  • Assist with other special projects as needed
  • Assist with requests for various financial audits

Client Assist Transactions:
  • Review backup from Mill Levy staff
  • Enter check requests into Accounts Payable
  • Print and mail checks when approved
  • Maintain communications with internal staff

General Data Entry:
  • Cross train and perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to analyze information and use sound judgment when making recommendations
  • Positive demeanor
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrates the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Moderate Excel skills preferred, Outlook and Word proficiency
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Non-Profit experience
  • Previous experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting software
  • Associate degree or business coursework in accounting

Essential Functions
  • Attends staff, team and department meetings
  • Develops and maintains records, plans and reports
  • Lift and/or carry 20 lbs
  • Sit, stand and walk for reasonable periods of time
