What Will You Be Doing?
The Analyst, Financial Systems will provide project management and IT support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (D365), Coupa, Blackline, Skyledger, and LeaseQuery as well as any additional financial systems implemented going forward for both the accounting and finance departments, in addition to being a liaison with the IT department. The Analyst, Financial Systems will need to be effective at developing relationships with various stakeholders across the company to meet the needs of the business, including helping lead the department's adoption and use of AI for data analysis and automation. Additionally, the Analyst, Financial Systems will work with the Financial Systems Manager to ensure the systems are up and running effectively (including all necessary upgrades), work with third-party service providers to ensure timely resolution of system questions and requests from users, as well as designing and maintaining the appropriate system control environment. The Analyst, Financial Systems will also work with the Manager, Financial Systems to recommend, design, and implement changes that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the various systems.
Essential Functions
Project Management (60%)
  • Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Assists in data validation and analysis.
  • Assists in leading the accounting department's adoption and use of AI.

Support Accounting and Finance System Needs (15%)
  • Builds, maintains, and runs financial reports in D365
  • Assists in strategizing and developing new tools and views to support the fast-changing needs of the business.
  • Manages relationships with third-party support teams.
  • Manages long-term system-related projects as identified.

Responsible for the Proper Functioning of Financial Systems (15%)
  • Monitors system performance and troubleshoots issues.
  • Assists in the development of the enterprise-wide financial systems strategy.
  • Maintains the Segregation of Duties/Security roles.

Internal Control Support (10%)
  • Assists the Accounting Department in designing an effective control environment to ensure SOX compliance.
  • Assist the financial system manager with all control documentation and testing of financial systems.

Other Functions
  • Those that are marginally important to the position

  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field; combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience total with some combination of the following areas: project management, financial systems (including implementations), data analytics and/or accounting.
  • Experience using Copilot or other AI tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Alteryx or knowledge of other data analysis tools and programming languages preferred.
  • Problem solving and data analysis experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification preferred or currently working with D365.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Excel, including the ability to create and utilize advanced formulas.
  • Experience working with Coupa is a plus.
  • Ability to work well with other team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess good mathematical aptitude.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work with strict confidentiality.
