Job description

Due to growth, Maumee Valley Group, located in Defiance, Ohio, is looking for a Part Time Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team! The Loss Prevention Specialist will be responsible for identifying theft and reducing shrink for all locations. These locations include, but not limited to, vending, markets, cafeterias, and warehouses.
Key responsibilities:
  • Catching theft at market locations using recorded and live cameras
  • Preparing detailed reports for review with management and clients, regarding incidents that have occurred
  • Contacting clients via phone or e-mail
  • Communication with all departments within MVG, including route drivers and Supervisors
  • Meet monthly quota for catching thefts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, asset protection/loss prevention experience preferred
  • Knowledge of loss prevention, asset protection and safety terminology, methods, and tools preferred
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
Job Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, no weekends
  • Paid Weekly on Wednesday's via Direct Deposit
  • Part time, flexible schedule
  • 7am-11am, 8am-12pm or 11am-3pm
  • 25 hours per week
Pay Range: Starting hourly rate of $15 per hour plus commission for number of thefts identified
