What This Role Is…

As a Customer Pickup Associate, the primary function of this position is to safely and efficiently assist customers picking up purchased merchandise by loading and securing merchandise into their vehicles, while providing world class service. The Customer Pickup Associate is also responsible for logging and releasing merchandise for pick up. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY HOME.

What You’ll Do…

As a Customer Pickup Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Loads product into customer’s vehicles utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages, utilizing proper loading techniques to ensure a safe secure load
  • Stages, scans, and examines products pulled for Customer Pick Up
  • Logs and releases all Customer Pickup orders while controlling flow of traffic
  • Coordinates movement of sold clearance products
  • Assists in other departments within the distribution center as needed
  • Operates an order picker and tugger in a safe manner around the warehouse area
