Part Time Factory Cleaner

Stathakis is seeking a dependable evening cleaner for a part-time, on-site position in Bay City, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, teamwork and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming facility environment. The position follows a Monday-Friday evening shift and pays $15.00 an hour from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Position Summary:

The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for performing general janitorial and custodial duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe facility. This role supports the day-to-day appearance and cleanliness of the building, including common areas, restrooms, floors, and other assigned spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing general cleaning and janitorial services throughout the facility
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Restock paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies
  • Clean common areas and help maintain a professional appearance throughout the building
  • Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific instructions
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
  • Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and dependability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, walking, bending, and routine lifting
