Location: West Los Angeles Area, CA 90066
Start Date: June - August 2026

Three school-aged children (middle school and high school ages)
Pets: None

Schedule:
  • Monday-Thursday, approximately 20 guaranteed hours per week

  • Typical hours will generally fall between approximately 2:00/2:30 PM - 7:00 PM

  • Occasional additional hours or adjusted schedules may be requested from time to time

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $30-$45/hour (W-2), based on experience and qualifications

  • 20 Guaranteed weekly hours

  • 6 Paid holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

  • Paid sick leave per California law

  • 1 week Paid time off

  • Use of a family-provided vehicle for all work-related driving responsibilities

Position Overview:

A busy, professional family in the West Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Household Manager/ Family Assistant to help support the smooth day-to-day operation of their home and family life.

This role requires a candidate who is confident balancing household coordination, errands, scheduling logistics, and meal preparation in a fast-paced household environment. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, takes initiative naturally, and can independently manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.

The family is seeking someone who brings professionalism, strong executive functioning skills, excellent organizational ability, and confidence handling multiple moving pieces simultaneously. This is not an entry-level role. Prior experience supporting busy households in a similar capacity is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities: Household & Family Management
  • Oversee and maintain organized daily household operations and routines

  • Coordinate children's school schedules, extracurricular activities, and transportation logistics

  • Manage calendars, appointments, deliveries, and household scheduling needs

  • Run household errands including grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, and restocking household supplies

  • Maintain organization systems throughout the home and proactively identify household needs

  • Assist with vendor coordination and household-related appointments as needed

Meal Planning & Family Support
  • Take ownership of the family's dinner routine, including meal planning, grocery coordination, and preparation of healthy, balanced meals

  • Prepare nutritious snacks and meals with variety and attention to dietary preferences and healthy eating habits

  • Support kitchen organization and food inventory management

  • Ability to meal prep efficiently and maintain consistency throughout the week

Childcare & After-School Support
  • Provide attentive after-school supervision and support for school-aged children

  • Assist with homework oversight, routines, and transitions between activities

  • Safely transport children to and from activities as needed

  • Help maintain structure, consistency, and positive routines within the household

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Prior professional experience as a Family Assistant, Household Manager, Nanny, or similar household support role required

  • Strong experience balancing childcare responsibilities with household management duties

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills

  • Confident managing responsibilities independently and proactively

  • Strong cooking and meal preparation skills required, including ability to prepare balanced family meals consistently

  • Professional, reliable, discreet, and solutions-oriented

  • Comfortable managing a dynamic household with multiple moving parts

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

  • Reliable personal vehicle for work-related driving; mileage reimbursement provided

  • TrustLine certified or willing to complete certification upon hire (California requirement)

  • Able to pass comprehensive background and reference checks
