What other jobs can I do as a CNA?

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) can transition into roles such as home health aides, patient care technicians, or medical assistants, which often require similar skills in patient care and basic medical procedures. They can also pursue positions in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or clinics, sometimes with additional certifications or training. These roles typically involve direct patient interaction and may require flexibility for evening or weekend shifts.

What do you do as a night shift CNA?

A night shift CNA provides patient care during overnight hours, including assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safety. They often perform tasks such as changing linens, administering basic treatments, and documenting patient information, working in a healthcare environment that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Can a CNA make $1000 a week?

A part-time evening CNA typically earns between $12 and $20 per hour, so making $1000 a week would require working approximately 50 to 83 hours weekly, which is often beyond standard part-time hours. Achieving this income may be possible with overtime, multiple shifts, or higher-paying facilities, but it is not common for standard part-time CNA roles.
