Calling all Night Owls and Weekend Warriors!
Interested in making some extra money while gaining clinical experience? Then Bon Secours wants you to join our team!
Bon Secours Health System in Richmond, Virginia is currently seeking BC/BE Psychiatrists interested in moonlighting opportunities and vacation coverage on the inpatient units at Richmond Community and St. Marys Hospitals. Successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals. Weekend Coverage Duties:

  • Inpatient rounding on adult psychiatric unit (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Consult/Liaison coverage on medical Floors (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Treat patients with a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including geriatrics and addictions
  • Telephonic call from 6pm to 8am
  • EHR is Epic with psychiatric template notes available
  • TigerConnect available for easy HIPPA compliant texting with other providers
  • Strong support staff including Behavioral Health Techs, Nurses and Social Workers to assist on weekends
  • Hospitalist available for consultation and management of medical problems and medical H&P
Nighttime Telephonic Call Coverage Duties:
  • 6pm to 8am
  • Review potential ER admissions with psychiatric ER social worker
  • Cover calls from inpatient unit
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible Psychiatry
  • US Citizen
