Position: Line Cook

Location: Arts District DTLA - 427 S Hewitt St., Los Angeles CA 90013

We’re a fast-casual ramen destination with four LA locations, known for blending modern flavors with traditional ramen recipes – and we’re now hiring Part Time Line Cooks to join our team. If you’re ready to grow with a brand that takes pride in people and flavor, this is your bowl of ramen. 

We’re looking for a passionate, responsible, and energetic Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves delivering exceptional, fun service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail by taking pride in the execution of dishes
  • Keep a clean and organized BOH station, including cleaning after service
  • Set up/breakdown workstations in a timely manner to ensure prompt opening/closing of the restaurant 
  • Practice proper food rotation and sanitation practices 
  • Properly learn and execute all our recipe procedures
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Be available to help and collaborate with other stations if requested or needed
  • Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary 
  • Other tasks as specified by management 

Skills and Requirements

  • 1+ years of line cook experience in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to work flexible hours 
  • Able to work weekends 
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Food Handlers Certificate 

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Restaurants are equipped with ventilated air conditioning
  • Noise level is moderate to high
  • Temperatures vary from hot to cold
  • Floors may be slippery due to the nature of the business
  • Able to stand for 2-4 hours at a time
  • Able to reach overhead and outwards, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and squat
  • Able to lift, push, carry and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds or less
