Life doesn't always follow a fixed schedule. That's why we created the Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.
As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordinator in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

DayTimeSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
How This Role Works:
  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a technology location.
  • Monitor communications channels, dispatch officers and/or appropriate personnel to routine and critical incidents, and relay accurate updates to support timely response.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting activity, notifications, and security-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with site contacts, building staff, and/or first responders during alarms, service calls, and unusual activity, following post orders and established escalation guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination and monitor perimeter, camera, alarm, and access control activity to help identify and report irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
