Job description

WesTech Plumbing LLC is seeking a part-time Dispatcher to help keep customer communication and daily scheduling running smoothly in Lubbock, TX.

Position Summary

As a Dispatcher, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers and a key partner in coordinating service calls. You will help ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently, customers receive timely updates, and every request is documented accurately to support an excellent service experience.

In this onsite role, you will manage high-volume communication, handle scheduling and dispatch coordination, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment—while maintaining a friendly, professional presence with every call.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.

  • Schedule service calls and coordinate appointments while keeping the daily schedule organized.

  • Dispatch technicians, manage route/service priorities, and monitor progress throughout the day.

  • Provide job updates to customers and technicians, including changes to arrival times or service details.

  • Document detailed notes for every service call and maintain accurate customer/account information.

  • Coordinate emergency calls and adjust scheduling as urgent needs arise.

  • Follow up with customers regarding appointments and job status, ensuring expectations are met.

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally on the phone.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during schedule changes or urgent requests.
