Job description

Position Purpose: This person will support the FOH team by handling all the take-out, orders, delivery orders, and all of the to-go orders, including entering them in the POS system and packaging and labeling properly.

*This is a part-time position. Must be available Thursday through Sunday.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and execute all Caviar, Post-Mates and in-house/phone take-out orders by using the POS system and delivery order iPads.
  • Handle all guest order issues with management direction and communicating with the delivery customer service.
  • Keep the to-go area stocked with appropriate bags, containers, labels to serve the guests.
  • Assist porter with polishing glassware and flatware when asked or needed.
  • Keeps the to-go station organized and tidy.
  • Stock and/or restock all to-go containers, bags, stickers and labels as needed.
  • Conducts thorough breakdown and cleaning of to go area at close of shift.
  • Notify Chef or General Manager if there is a shortage of supplies.
  • Assist support duties in other sections as needed, at the direction of management, to ensure that all guests receive excellent service regardless of business volume.
  • Acknowledges guests with eye contact and smile, answers questions when able or finds the appropriate employee to follow up with guest request.

  • The ability to work as part of a team, work quickly and follow directions.
  • Ability to communicate and understand direction in English to ensure safety in the workplace. Ability to understand, respond, and engage with co-workers, managers, and guests in English.
  • Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.
  • Time management and ability to work under pressure to manage high volume of production.
  • Active listening and learning skills.
  • Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
  • Discipline to follow set standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
