Job description

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting daily site operations by managing inventory, equipment, and workflow preparation. Key duties include opening and closing the store, performing accurate equipment and supply counts, setting up all operational gear, and sending detailed inventory reports. The position assists Dispatch with day-to-day tasks, replaces batteries as needed, and ensures all equipment is accounted for. Additional responsibilities include escalating discrepancies, reporting damaged or missing items, shuttling bikes and trailers, and performing road rescues for couriers during active routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store depending on shift, ensuring all operational procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform inventory counts of equipment and supplies, including bins, lids, hand trucks, and other operational items.
  • Set up all equipment required for daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Send detailed inventory emails with accurate counts and necessary notes.
  • Replace dying or depleted batteries in equipment to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Assist the Dispatcher with assigned tasks and support daily operational needs.
  • Report any Delivery Associate (DA) responsible for damaging or missing equipment to the Dispatcher immediately.
  • Account for all equipment and send inventory updates for proper record-keeping.
  • Immediately escalate any discrepancies found during inventory counts to management.
  • Shuttle bikes and trailers from the garage to the staging area as needed.
  • Perform road rescues for bikers when issues arise during active routes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
