Position: News Technical Director Internship
NPG of Yuma-El Centro Yuma, Arizona has an immediate opening for a part-time technical director Intern to direct local newscasts.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to direct/technical direct newscasts, live cut-ins and pre-produced news segments, promos and programs; work with the Anchor/Producer and Reporter/Videographer and staff to advance shows technically and creatively.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have an interest in television News Production; a working knowledge of Video/Audio/Graphics Production systems and techniques; demonstrable, working knowledge of studio lighting systems; outstanding verbal communication skills; an ability to function in high-pressure situations and be detail-oriented with problem solving skills. Candidate must have a valid Arizona driver's license and pass a drug test and background check.
