Excellent opportunity! This active hospital employed practice, seeks a BE/BC physician specializing in medical management of breast disease including high risk surveillance, survivorship and women's health to add to their Southeast Michigan based multidisciplinary team to manage medical care

This practice location is aligned with the Royal Oak campus. You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan system! the practice has a longstanding history of excellence in the community.

The Breast Care Center maintains top-ranking in-patient satisfaction scores and features digital mammography, tomosynthesis, 3-D imaging, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, breast ultrasound, bone density and a breast care nurse navigator to assist patients. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Breast Care Center is designated as a Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The breast team has breast dedicated medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, breast radiologists, genetic counselors, nutritionists, research nurse and financial navigators.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or eligible in internal medicine, medical oncology, gynecology or surgery.
  • Interest in nutrition, mindfulness, lifestyle medicine desired.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a persuasive communicator who is empathetic and a respectful listener who can create an atmosphere that allows individuals to flourish within the context of the department.
  • Must be able to obtain an unrestricted license in Michigan.
