To thrive as a Part Time Designer, you need a solid grasp of design principles, proficiency in visual communication, and typically a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch is often expected, and a strong portfolio can be a critical credential. They may also have the opportunity to take on specialized tasks or support multiple projects based on the team's needs.
