Job description

Are you creative, visually savvy, and obsessed with making content that makes people stop scrolling? Love interiors, design, color, and beautiful things? A small, artist-made wallpaper brand is seeking a motivated college student to help grow our social media presence and bring fresh energy to our storytelling.


This is an ideal opportunity for a student interested in marketing, communications, design, photography, social media, branding, interiors, or entrepreneurship who wants hands-on experience building a creative brand—and a strong portfolio.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You’ll help make our social media more fun, dynamic, relatable, and visually compelling by creating consistent, on-brand content across platforms:

Social Media Content Creation

  • Create and schedule content for:
    • Instagram: 2-3x/week
    • Facebook: 2-3x/week
    • Pinterest: minimum 2 Pins/week
    • TikTok: minimum 1x/week
  • Develop engaging content that captures attention and builds connection, including:
    • Behind-the-scenes / making-of videos
    • Before-and-afters
    • Styling and color advice
    • Calls to action
    • Quizzes, contests, and interactive posts
    • Process videos, studio moments, customer stories, and more

Creative Strategy & Growth

  • Develop a thoughtful content calendar and strategy to grow followers, engagement, and buzz around the brand
  • Identify trends and creative ways to make the brand feel fresh, inspiring, and relatable
  • Visit the artist/designer’s studio twice a month to capture photo and video content

Content & Communication

  • Reach out to customers and conduct brief email interviews for use in social media and blog storytelling
  • Write 2 blog posts/month
  • Maintain regular communication with the artist/designer
  • Submit brief end-of-week reports with:
    • Analytics/performance insights
    • Lessons learned
    • Upcoming content schedule and ideas
